Dance Marathons
Step inside the magical world of Dance Marathon, where kids are celebrated in the moment. Planned and organized by student volunteers, the amazing event takes place on the campus of The University of Iowa, Iowa State University, Augustana College, and Loras College. Year-round events celebrate these children and their families and prepare for the highlight—a Dance Marathon in their honor. In addition to raising essential funds for University of Iowa Children's Hospital, college students learn valuable planning and business skills as well as the importance of philanthropy and volunteering.
For others, the dance marathon program is a life-changing experience—students change majors to embrace health care careers.
