Medications |

For
the convenience of patients and staff, the two
Ambulatory Care Pharmacies carry a line of over-the-counter
(OTC) products for sale. Available items include
select analgesics; antacids and GI medications; cough, cold,
and allergy medications; glucose test strips, lancets, and
select insulins; various topical products; vitamins; and
ipecac.

Payment Options

For the convenience of faculty and staff, the Ambulatory Care Pharmacies now accept payroll deduction as a means of payment for prescription services. Those faculty and staff who have active hospital charging privileges on their UI Health Care photo ID badges or University of Iowa ID cards may now purchase prescriptions and over-the-counter medication using payroll deduction. This is in addition to other payment options such as cash, check, MasterCard, and Visa.
